Qualifications

• Experience using accounting or sales-related software is beneficial.
• Willingness to learn about the insurance industry, programs, and regulations that may impact policyholders.
• Basic computer skills including proficiency with Microsoft Office suite is required.
• Must be a superb communicator able to carefully analyze complex ideas like insurance programs; experience working in customer service is beneficial.
• Candidates must have or be willing to get an insurance license.

Responsibilities

• B2B cold calling to educate clients on supplemental insurance offerings.
• Build and maintain client relationships and grow book of business.
• Update reports and records to track monthly sales progress.
• Tailor client profiles and risk management strategies.
• Stay informed on changes to insurance policies and adjust programs accordingly.
• Execute marketing, cold calling and networking to connect with potential clients.
• Meet with new and potential clients to present the best insurance policies.
