Meier Insurance Agency is seeking an entry-level Sales Representative to join our insurance agent team and grow through on-the-job training. The role emphasizes strong communication, customer service, and a passion for helping clients find suitable coverage.

Responsibilities include updating reports, tailoring client profiles, and implementing marketing strategies such as cold calling. You will meet with clients to assess needs and present the best insurance options.

Qualifications

• 1) Experience in sales or customer service is preferred.
• 2) Willingness to learn insurance programs, industry rules and regulations.
• 3) Proficiency with Microsoft Office and basic computer skills required.
• 4) Excellent communication and ability to analyze complex insurance concepts.
• 5) Must obtain or already hold Health & Life producer license.

Responsibilities

• Update reports and records to track progress toward monthly sales goals.
• Tailor risk profiles and client plans to meet individual needs.
• Stay informed on industry rules and agency policies to amend programs as needed.
• Implement marketing strategies including cold calling and networking while managing an existing client portfolio.
• Meet with new and potential clients to present suitable insurance policies.
