Job summary

Reyes Fleet Management in San Bernardino, CA, is hiring a Trailer Technician B at our Refurb Center. This role will primarily handle repairs on new and refurbished trailers. Shift: Full-Time, Monday - Friday 6:00am - 2:30pm.

Pay: $35.00/hr. The position offers a benefits package including PTO, health/dental/vision, 401K, and opportunities for career advancement. Responsibilities include refurbishing fleet assets, diagnosing mechanical and electrical issues with diagnostic tools, documenting work

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED and 2+ years of related experience.
• Must possess own tools (have minimum tool requirement).
• Valid driver’s license and acceptable motor vehicle record in compliance with DOT regulations to operate applicable company vehicles.

Responsibilities

• The Trailer Upfitting Technician is responsible for the refurbishment and remanufacturing of company fleet assets within the Company.
• As a Trailer Upfitting Technician, you will assist with diagnosing and detailed inspections of complex mechanical and electric problems utilizing diagnostic technology/software.
• You will complete thorough documentation of work orders for repairs through the online AssetWorks system.
• You will install trailer refrigeration, heating units, and external graphics as well as perform basic welding, metal cutting, and installation of hydraulic liftgate components.
• Other duties as assigned.
