Job summary

Reyes Fleet Management in San Bernardino, CA, is hiring a Trailer Technician B at our Refurb Center. This role will primarily handle repairs on new and refurbished trailers. Shift: Full-Time, Monday - Friday 6:00am - 2:30pm.

Pay: $35.00/hr. The position offers a benefits package including PTO, health/dental/vision, 401K, and opportunities for career advancement. Responsibilities include refurbishing fleet assets, diagnosing mechanical and electrical issues with diagnostic tools, documenting work

Qualifications

High School Diploma or GED and 2+ years of related experience.
Must possess own tools (have minimum tool requirement).
Valid driver’s license and acceptable motor vehicle record in compliance with DOT regulations to operate applicable company vehicles.

Responsibilities

The Trailer Upfitting Technician is responsible for the refurbishment and remanufacturing of company fleet assets within the Company.
As a Trailer Upfitting Technician, you will assist with diagnosing and detailed inspections of complex mechanical and electric problems utilizing diagnostic technology/software.
You will complete thorough documentation of work orders for repairs through the online AssetWorks system.
You will install trailer refrigeration, heating units, and external graphics as well as perform basic welding, metal cutting, and installation of hydraulic liftgate components.
Other duties as assigned.
