Qualifications

• At least 1 year of experience in DOT inspections, FHWA inspections, and air brakes.
• Demonstration of ability to supply own basic tools or purchase through toolbox program.
• Willingness to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
• Ability to work across multiple shifts, including nights and weekends if needed.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate proficient knowledge of preventative maintenance and standard repairs related to trailer equipment.
• Troubleshoot trailer issues and perform intermediate repairs to specifications and complete work orders.
• Assist with onboarding and mentorship of trailer technician trainees.
• Participate in OE training for manufacturer repairs.
• Follow shop safety procedures and maintain professional communication with staff and customers.
