Job summary

Cox Fleet in De Pere, Wisconsin is hiring a Shop Trailer Mechanic II to perform certified DOT inspections, preventative maintenance, and light to heavy repairs in a dedicated on-site shop facility.

You'll work under the supervision of a Sr Shop Technician, document work on Repair Orders in the Karmak system, and follow safety, DOT, OSHA and company policies to maintain high performance metrics.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED with 3 years in related field.
• OEM training and certifications are preferred.
• DOT/FMCSA regulatory awareness and safety training.

Responsibilities

• Perform DOT inspections and preventative maintenance on trailer equipment in a shop.
• Order parts with Shop Parts Department and maintain clean work area.
• Document work on Repair Orders using Karmak; adhere to safety policies.
• Assist in diagnostics and communicate findings to Shop Manager.
