Job summary

Ryder System, Inc. is seeking a Commercial Trailer Sales Manager to lead onboarding and platform adoption for the Tapped Trailers program. You will partner with Sales and Marketing to bring new customers onto the platform and set up prospects, ensuring DOT and insurance requirements are met.

The role involves engaging local markets, refining yield pricing, and presenting results to the Executive Team. Travel is 10–20% for regional team meetings and sales blitzes.

Qualifications

• Two years or more in Sales, Marketing, or Operations with a track record of onboarding customers.
• Advanced knowledge of Ryder's rental product line.
• Insurance and DOT familiarity is helpful but not required.

Responsibilities

• Partner with Sales and Marketing to drive onboarding in launched and pilot markets.
• Visit and set up prospects on the Tapped Trailers platform.
• Verify proper requirements are met (insurance/DOT).
• Resolve platform/transaction issues and propose DOT-compliant solutions.
• Maintain customer satisfaction across markets by collecting feedback.
• Monitor trailer inventory and customer profiles for accuracy.
