Job summary

Ryder System, Inc. is seeking a Commercial Trailer Sales Manager to lead onboarding and market development for the Tapped Trailers platform.

You will work with sales and marketing to bring new customers online, visit prospects, and ensure insurance/DOT requirements are met. In this role, you will address platform-related issues, maintain rental-satisfaction across multiple markets, and collaborate with leadership on strategic planning and yield pricing.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Sales, Marketing, Transportation, or equivalent experience.
Minimum 2 years of experience in Sales, Marketing, or Operations with onboarding track record.
Trailer or equipment industry experience is a plus but not required.

Responsibilities

Partner with Sales and Marketing to drive onboarding in markets.
Visit and set up prospects on the Tapped Trailers platform.
Verify insurance and DOT requirements are met.
Resolve complaints related to the platform or transactions and propose solutions.
Maintain customer satisfaction around rentals across markets.
Monitor trailer inventory and customer profiles for accuracy.
Collaborate on strategic planning and present results to leadership.
Monitor and adjust yield pricing in target markets.
Perform other duties as assigned.
