Job summary

Ryder System, Inc. is seeking a Commercial Trailer Sales Manager to drive growth through the Tapped Trailers platform. You will own onboarding, visit prospects, and ensure insurance/DOT compliance while addressing customer issues and providing solutions.

This role involves coordinating with Sales/Marketing, managing pricing in target markets, and participating in strategic planning. Travel is estimated at 10-20% for local market meetings.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Sales, Marketing, Transportation, or equivalent experience.
• At least 2 years in Sales/Marketing/Operations with onboarding experience.
• Trailer or equipment industry experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Partner with Sales and Marketing to drive new customer onboarding in launched and pilot markets.
• Visit and set up prospects on the Tapped Trailers platform.
• Verify proper requirements are met (insurance/DOT).
• Resolve customer issues related to the platform or transactions and propose solutions for DOT violations, accidents, breakdowns.
