Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or equivalent background.
• Must be 17+ years of age.

• Able to use hand tools and test equipment.
• Must own tools and possess mechanical ability.

Responsibilities

• Repairs and performs preventive maintenance on trailers.
• Inspect, troubleshoot, diagnose, and service equipment.
• Perform FMCSA safety inspections and document regulatory compliance.
• Interpret work orders and technical manuals.
• Repair or replace defective parts, components or systems.
• Test repaired equipment to ensure compliance with specs and regulations.
• Maintain regular attendance; perform additional duties as needed.
