Job summary

Estes-Express-Lines is hiring for trailer maintenance with responsibilities spanning repairs and preventive care of a large fleet. You will inspect, troubleshoot, diagnose, and perform routine maintenance on equipment to keep operations running smoothly.

The role requires reading work orders, following manuals, and ensuring safety inspections and regulatory compliance. You should be able to lift heavy loads, work across shifts, and operate under time constraints while maintaining quality.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED or equivalent background.
• 17+ years of age or older.
• At least 1 year of experience or completion of trade school.
• Ability to use hand tools and test equipment.
• Must own tools.
• Knowledge of general repairs and PM criteria.
• Ability to adapt to changing technology.
• Strong mechanical and electronics aptitude.
• Lift up to 70 lbs and work in awkward positions.
• CDL and acceptable MVR if driving on public roads; CDL holder must be FMCSA cleared.

Responsibilities

• Repair and preventive maintenance of trailers.
• Inspect, troubleshoot, diagnose, and maintain equipment.
• Perform safety inspections and FMCSA documentation.
• Interpret work orders and manuals.
• Repair or replace defective parts and systems.
• Test repaired equipment for proper performance and compliance.
