Job summary

Estes-Express-Lines is seeking a trailer technician responsible for repairs and preventive maintenance of trailers. The role includes inspecting, troubleshooting, and servicing equipment, and performing safety inspections to meet FMCSA and other regulations.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED (or equivalent background).
• Must be 17+ years old.
• Minimum 1 year experience or trade school completion; or equivalent education/experience.
• Able to use hand tools and test equipment; must have own tools.
• Must know general repairs and preventive maintenance criteria.
• Ability to adapt to changing technology and updates.

Responsibilities

• Perform repairs and preventive maintenance on trailers.
• Inspect, troubleshoot, diagnose, and service equipment.
• Conduct safety inspections and prepare FMCSA and other regulatory documents.
