Job summary

Estes is hiring for a maintenance position focused on trailer repair and preventive maintenance. You will inspect, troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair equipment, and perform safety inspections in line with FMCSA and company requirements.

The role requires reading work orders and manuals, using hand tools and test equipment, and lifting up to 70 lbs. A CDL and clean MVR may be required for driving on public roads; flexibility to work nights or weekends is expected.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED or equivalent background.
• Must be 17+ years old.
• One year of experience or trade school or equivalent education/experience.

Responsibilities

• Perform repairs and preventive maintenance on trailers.
• Inspect, troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair equipment.
• Conduct safety inspections and prepare FMCSA compliance documents.
• Interpret work orders and manuals; replace defective parts.
• Test repaired equipment to meet specifications and regulations.
• Maintain regular attendance; be able to work shifts including nights/weekends.
