Job summary

Estes Express Lines is hiring at all levels of skill and experience to keep our trailer fleet safe and reliable. You will perform repairs and preventive maintenance, inspect, troubleshoot, diagnose and repair equipment, and conduct safety inspections to meet FMCSA and company requirements.

Strong reading of work orders and manuals, ability to use hand tools and test equipment, and own tools are essential. Must be 17+, have GED or higher, at least 1 year of related experience or trade school, and

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED or equivalent.
• Must be 17+ years of age.
• At least 1 year of experience and/or completion of trade school; or equivalent education/experience.
• Must be able to use hand tools and test equipment.
• Must have own tools.
• Must know general repairs and PM criteria.
• Must possess the strength and stamina to work with heavy equipment.

Responsibilities

• Perform repairs and preventive maintenance of trailers.
• Inspect, troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair equipment.
• Conduct safety inspections and prepare FMCSA-compliant safety documents.
• Repair or replace defective parts, components or systems.
• Test repaired equipment for proper performance and compliance with specs.
