Job summary

Turner Construction Company is seeking a traveling Superintendent to lead mechanical and electrical work on a Advanced Technology project portfolio that includes Data Centers. The role oversees subcontractors, ensures safety, schedule, quality, and budget adherence on a demanding site.

Candidates should have a Bachelor's degree or equivalent engineering/architectural experience and at least six years in MEP construction, with strong leadership and BIM coordination experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or 4+ years engineering/architectural exp with 6+ years MEP construction exp.
• Knowledge of building methods, scheduling, cost control, and contract documents.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office; ability to read/interpret drawings and specs.
• Proven leadership and interpersonal abilities.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate work of subcontractors on mechanical and electrical systems.
• Manage scheduling, delivery, logistics, quality, and staffing.
• Maintain site safety program and subcontractor compliance.
• Supervise Assistant Superintendents, Field Engineers, and interns.
• Develop recovery plans to protect schedule and budget.
• Communicate with owners and architects/engineers on field issues.
• Oversee billing and monthly estimates, payrolls, and payments.
• Ensure work conforms to contract documents.
• Coordinate with engineers on 3D models and drawings.
• Lead inspections, turnover, training, and punch lists.
