Job summary

Turner Construction Company is seeking a traveling Superintendent for a full-time Advanced Technology project portfolio, including Data Centers. You will lead MEPS trades, coordinate with designers, ensure safety, and manage schedule and budget on site.

Responsibilities include directing subcontractors, maintaining standards, and driving turnover processes across HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and related systems. Extensive travel to project sites is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or architecture or equivalent experience.
• Extensive leadership and supervisory capabilities on large construction projects.
• Strong knowledge of MEP systems, scheduling, and cost control.

Responsibilities

• Lead, direct and coordinate subcontractors and Turner trade labor for mechanical and electrical systems.
• Ensure safety, schedule adherence, quality of work, and budget compliance.
• Supervise assistants and field staff; develop performance appraisals when needed.
• Develop schedules, sequencing, and recovery strategies to maintain the project plan.
• Coordinate with owners, architects/engineers, and the Engineer on field issues.
• Manage billing related to work in place and subcontractor payments.
• Ensure installation conforms to contract documents and 3D coordination models.
• Oversee inspections, startup, turnover, and punchlist activities.
