TAPCO, a leading ITS solutions provider, seeks a Traffic Systems Technician to maintain, install, and troubleshoot intelligent transportation systems. You will work with traffic signals, dynamic signs, cameras, networking gear, and TAPCO-made products, with travel to sites as needed.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree in electronics or equivalent on-the-job experience.
• Two years of field service and troubleshooting experience.
• Good working knowledge of computers, networking, AC/DC electrical systems and fiber optics.

Responsibilities

• Install, maintain and repair electronic, computer, and network systems.
• Safely operate related tools and equipment.
• Operate related computer systems and software.
• Provide technical phone support to customers, contractors and TAPCO staff.
• Troubleshoot and repair equipment down to board level.
• Maintain accurate field records and reports.
