Job summary

TAPCO (Traffic and Parking Control Co., LLC) is seeking a skilled Traffic Systems Technician to maintain, install, and troubleshoot Intelligent Transportation Systems. You will work with traffic signals, dynamic signs, cameras, and TAPCO-made products, coordinating with contractors and training users on operations.

The role requires a background in electronics and networking, AX/DC electrical understanding, and fiber optics familiarity.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree in electronics or equivalent on-the-job experience.
• Two years of industry field service and troubleshooting experience.
• Proficient in PC use, Windows OS, Office, and software installation.

Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, and repair ITS hardware and networked systems.
• Troubleshoot electronics to the board level and document field reports.
• Provide phone and on-site support to customers and contractors.
• Configure equipment including control boards, routers, and switches.
• Travel to customer sites, including multi-day overnight stays as required.
