TAPCO (Traffic and Parking Control Co., LLC) is seeking a skilled ITS Technician to join our team in Wisconsin. You will maintain, install, and troubleshoot Intelligent Transportation Systems including traffic signals, dynamic message signs, cameras, and IP network equipment.

Travel to customer sites may be required, including multi-day trips. Applicants should have an associate degree in electronics or equivalent experience, plus hands-on field service and networking know-how.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in electronics or equivalent experience.
• Two years field service and troubleshooting experience.
• Proficient with PC, Windows OS, software installs.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to travel.
• Fiber optic experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, and repair ITS equipment.
• Assist with installation of new devices.
• Provide technical phone support.
• Troubleshoot electronics and network issues.
• Travel to sites as needed.
• Document field reports.
• Operate tools and equipment safely.
• Work with contractors and customers.
• Respond to after-hours emergencies.
