The role involves installing, testing, programming and repairing traffic systems, with occasional statewide travel and on-call duties.

Two levels are available based on qualifications; pay ranges from $45,521 to $76,028 yearly with a CDL-A requirement within 90 days for II.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Experience in electrical/electronic troubleshooting and traffic systems is expected.
• CDL-A with N endorsement or Class A CDL required within 90 days (II level).

Responsibilities

• Perform specialized electrical/electronic work related to traffic management and data collection devices.
• Install, test, program and repair traffic systems and related equipment.
• Respond to emergencies and travel as needed across districts.
