Econolite in Anaheim, CA is seeking a Technical Support Professional II to provide world-class technical support for its Traffic Controller, Cabinet, and Detection products, interfacing with Field Support Representatives, Account Managers, and Channel Partners.

The role requires a technical degree (civil or electrical engineering) or equivalent experience, 5+ years in traffic systems, and strong communication. Some US travel is expected; salary is $70k-$90k plus benefits.

Qualifications

Technical degree or equivalent experience in civil (transportation) or electrical engineering.
5+ years installing and troubleshooting traffic management systems.
Hands-on with configuring traffic controllers and timing.
Knowledge of cabinet configurations and system topologies.
Experience testing and troubleshooting software/hardware and documenting issues.
Excellent written and verbal communication.
IP networking knowledge is a plus.
Experience with Linux, VxWorks, Windows is a plus.
IMSA certification or cabinet-level experience desirable.

Responsibilities

Provide hands-on technical support for Econolite’s Traffic Controller, Cabinet, and Detection products.
Analyze, document, investigate, and resolve customer issues while maintaining communication.
Follow customer support policies and keep the ticket database updated.
Collaborate with sales and field personnel to provide technical assistance.
Assist with internal and external product training.
Contribute inputs to Application Notes, Technical Bulletins, and Manuals.
