Job summary

Econolite is seeking a Technical Support Professional II in Anaheim, CA, to provide world-class support for Traffic Controller, Detection, and Cabinet products. You will work with Field Support Representatives, Account Managers, and Channel Partners to deliver timely solutions.

The role demands a technical degree and 5+ years of experience in traffic systems, with strong communication skills and knowledge of networking and operating systems. Some travel within the United States is expected.

Qualifications

• Technical degree in Civil (transportation) or Electrical Engineering, or equivalent technical experience.
• 5+ years installing and troubleshooting traffic management systems and equipment.
• Hands-on experience configuring traffic controllers and understanding signal timing.
• Knowledge of various traffic cabinet configurations and system topologies.
• Experience testing and troubleshooting software and hardware, documenting issues, and resolving them.
• Excellent customer relationship and communication skills.
• Knowledge of IP networking and related devices is a plus.
• Experience with Linux/VxWorks/Windows is a plus.
• IMSA certification and/or cabinet-level experience is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Provide hands-on technical support for Traffic Controller, Cabinet, and Detection products.
• Analyze, document, investigate, and resolve customer issues with timely communication.
• Maintain up-to-date ticket database and follow policies.
• Collaborate with sales and field staff to provide technical assistance and evaluate product specs.
• Assist with internal and external product training.
• Contribute inputs for Application Notes, Technical Bulletins, and Manuals.
