Job summary

Econolite is seeking a Field Support Representative in Maryland to provide technical support and installation guidance for traffic control products. You will interact with contractors and agencies, troubleshoot at the cabinet level, and support the sales team with technical information and solutions.

Candidates should have strong electronics experience, IMSA Level 2 certification, and be able to travel within the district. The role requires driving, problem solving, and ongoing product training.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of electronics or related field experience.
• IMSA Level 2 certification within 3 months of hire.
• Ability to read schematics, engineering drawings, manuals, and troubleshooting guides.
• Fast learner with prior traffic industry technical experience.
• Microsoft Office and CRM familiarity is a plus; document daily activities in CRM.
• Valid driver’s license with clean driving record.

Responsibilities

• Advise Contractors and Agencies on Econolite products.
• Perform cabinet-level traffic installation, troubleshooting, and manual/document reading.
• Assist the sales team by identifying customer needs and generating leads.
• Improve operations, reduce turnaround times, and deliver quality customer service.
• Support industry events by installing Econolite solutions and providing technical sales info.
• Train FSRs on products, installation, troubleshooting, and interpreting specs.
• Exercise sound judgment in task execution.
