Job summary

Econolite Group, Inc. is seeking an ITS Technician to lead and support installation, troubleshooting, and maintenance of traffic signals and ITS devices. The role involves fieldwork, occasional on-call hours, and travel across Florida and the US.

A strong background in ITS and safety compliance is essential. Five years of related experience are required, with IMSA certifications and a valid driver’s license recommended.

Qualifications

• Minimum five years of related ITS field experience.
• IMSA Level II or III certification preferred; FDOT Temporary Traffic Control certification preferred; Electrician license preferred.
• Knowledge of OSHA regulations.
• Must have a valid Driver's License with acceptable DMV record.

Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, replace, program and troubleshoot ITS equipment including CCTV cameras, radar detection, loop detectors, signs and cabinets.
• Field install of traffic control devices as needed (signs, cones).
• Operate bucket truck for traffic signal and ITS maintenance duties.
• Respond to on-site customer needs; may be on-call nights and weekends.
• Travel within Florida and/or US as required.
