Day & Zimmermann in Hawthorne, NV is seeking an experienced Traffic Supervisor to direct daily traffic management operations at the Hawthorne Army Depot. You will supervise bills of lading processing, carrier coordination, and reporting to ensure compliant, timely shipments.

You will train staff, review regulations and procedures, oversee MTMS/ETA/ASIS systems, and coordinate schedules to meet priorities. A associate degree and 3+ years of experience are required.

Competenze

• Associate degree in Transportation, Traffic Management, or related field.
• 3+ years of traffic or transportation experience with supervisory responsibilities.

Mansioni

• Supervise employees processing bills of lading, classify shipments, review carrier requirements, and prepare traffic reports.
• Train and coach Traffic personnel on procedures, regulations, and documentation; monitor quality and compliance.
• Review traffic regulations and procedures; oversee updates and contract data reporting.
• Oversee MTMS, ETA, ASIS, and other traffic systems; ensure data accuracy and resolve issues.
• Coordinate carrier schedules and transportation services to meet shipment priorities.
• Maintain traffic-office quality management and document-control processes; ensure safety and ethics standards.
