Job summary

HNTB Corporation in the Carolinas region seeks an experienced Traffic Engineering lead to drive safety analyses and related studies. You will manage scope, budget, and client satisfaction while mentoring a team of professionals across multiple projects.

Responsibilities include overseeing proposals, staffing, and development plans; coordinating with clients and leaders to secure work and deliver high-quality results on time and budget.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering and 8 years of relevant experience.
• 2 years task management or Deputy PM experience.

Responsibilities

• Develop project scope and fee quotation; assist in technical proposals and contracts per HNTB’s Sophisticated Contracting Approach (SCA).
• Serve as primary client liaison and manage project team to deliver scope, schedule, and budgets; assist with scoping and contract negotiations.
• Perform technical tasks including analysis, reports, design, specification, and production for assigned projects.
• Implement SDA project delivery; lead development and execution of the project management plan; mentor team.
• Coordinate with managers on staffing, recruitment, staff development, retention, and performance reviews.
• Partner with Client Service Leaders to assist with business development, client relationships and pursuit efforts; lead proposal development and interviews.
• May be responsible for recruitment, hiring, development, and retention of staff, including reporting plans and compensation reviews.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
