Job summary

American Structurepoint is seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead traffic and transportation projects in Columbus, OH. You will oversee scope, schedule, budget, and client satisfaction, coordinating multidisciplinary teams for high-quality deliverables.

The ideal candidate will have a PE license in Ohio or be eligible for reciprocity within six months and at least 6 years of PM experience in traffic engineering, including ODOT and municipal projects.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
• Licensed Professional Engineer (PE) in Ohio or eligible for reciprocity within six months.
• Minimum of 6 years of progressive traffic and transportation engineering experience with PM responsibilities.
• Experience managing Ohio DOT, LPA, county, and municipal transportation projects.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary point of accountability for assigned projects from initiation through closeout.
• Develop and manage project scopes, fees, schedules, budgets, work plans, staffing needs, and deliverables.
• Lead multidisciplinary project teams and coordinate with internal staff, subconsultants, clients, stakeholders, and reviewing agencies.
• Monitor project financial performance including revenue, budgets, invoicing, profitability and AR; address issues proactively.
• Maintain regular communication with clients on progress, decisions, schedules and budget.
• Build strong client relationships with emphasis on satisfaction, trust and repeat business.
• Mentor Deputy Project Managers and engineers; develop staff through feedback and responsibility.
• Support business development including client relationships, proposals, and contract negotiations.
• Promote collaboration and resource sharing across groups and centers.
