Job summary

American Structurepoint is seeking a Senior Project Engineer to join the Ohio Traffic Group in Columbus. You will provide technical leadership on a diverse set of traffic operations, safety, planning, and design projects for public and private clients across Ohio.

The ideal candidate is an Ohio-licensed PE with progressive traffic engineering experience who can independently lead assignments, communicate with clients, and mentor the next generation of traffic engineers.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering from an ABET-accredited program.
• Licensed Professional Engineer (PE) in Ohio or ability to obtain reciprocity within six months.
• Minimum of 6 years of progressive traffic/transportation engineering experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead traffic engineering assignments for Ohio projects (ODOT, municipalities, counties, MPOs, private sector).
• Lead technical work: traffic operations, capacity analysis, intersection/corridor studies, traffic forecasting, safety studies, signal design, signing/pavement marking, maintenance of traffic, multimodal improvements.
