Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Must pass state and federal background check.
• Must pass a pre-employment drug screen.
• Ability and flexibility to work a variety of shifts.
• Operate computer and monitoring equipment.
• Remain stationary for long periods while monitoring systems.

Responsibilities

• Monitor CCTV cameras and radio communications with INDOT personnel and responders.
• Input data into INDOT systems to generate events in GEM and CARS.
• Disseminate accurate information about incidents and road conditions.
• Collaborate with ISP dispatch and maintenance staff as needed.
• Verify events, signs, and traveler information for accuracy.
• Prepare information for dissemination to motorists after assessment.
