Inteplast Group is seeking a Traffic Manager II to lead the Traffic Department. You will supervise four staff, interview, hire, train, and evaluate performance while coordinating freight routing, rates, and transportation plans to optimize cost and service levels.

The role requires a Bachelor's degree with about five years of related experience, strong MS Office, and familiarity with freight tariffs, SAP, and logistics software. Some travel is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree plus five years of related experience or equivalent.
• Supervisory experience preferred.
• Proficiency reading and interpreting freight tariffs, regulations and reports.
• Strong MS Office skills (Word, Excel, Outlook) required.
• Experience with freight routing and rating systems; ERP experience helpful.

Responsabilités

• Directly supervise four employees in the Traffic Department.
• Interview, hire and train staff; plan and direct work; appraise performance.
• Negotiate freight rates and programs to control costs and improve service.
• Maintain routing guides and monthly freight reporting.
• Travel 1–2 times per month to visit customers and strengthen partnerships.
