Job summary

Seaboard Triumph Foods is seeking a Traffic Supervisor to lead the Traffic Department, ensuring safe and correct job performance across all positions. You will manage performance, training, and daily operations while aligning with plant policies and procedures to drive quality and efficiency.

The role requires experience in transportation/shipping and a proven ability to supervise and develop a team in a fast-paced environment, with emphasis on safety and compliance at STF’s Sioux City facility.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED; 2+ years of college education or equivalent.
• Two or more years of transportation and/or shipping experience and prior management preferred.
• Spanish language ability preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Provide day-to-day leadership, training, and management for Traffic employees.
• Assign, direct, and monitor work performed by Traffic staff.
• Conduct performance appraisals, development plans, and disciplinary actions.
• Ensure safe, accurate, and quality performance by all employees.
• Meet targets such as shag efficiencies, product protection, and turnover.
• Communicate expectations and changes in policies to the team.
• Collaborate with other plant departments for operational alignment.
• Complete reports accurately and timely; participate in safety meetings.
