Job summary

AtkinsRéalis seeks an ITS & Traffic Engineering Intern for Summer 2027 in Denver, CO. You will provide administrative and operations support, compile data, and prepare reports.

You will use CAD software (MicroStation and/or AutoCAD) to produce schematics, assist with design plans and traffic signal models, and coordinate with teams to ensure policy adherence. This internship offers growth and exposure to industry practices.

Qualifications

• Must have completed 60 hours towards a civil engineering degree from an ABET accredited program by the start of the internship (Summer 2027).
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office.
• Experience with AutoCAD or MicroStation is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide administrative and operations support.
• Responsible for the compilation of data and the preparation of reports.
• Utilize CAD software to produce schematics, drawings and design plans.
• Assist with preparation of design plans and traffic signal models
• Coordinate within organization unit to ensure consistency with policies and procedures.
• Participate in group meetings, both project and organization related
