Job summary

AtkinsRéalis seeks a Roads & Highways Engineering Intern for Summer 2027 in our Denver, CO office. You will support staff administratively, collaborate on roadway plan tasks, and handle drafting with guidance to prepare construction plans.

The role requires pursuing a civil engineering degree with ABET accreditation, ~60 credit hours completed, and proficiency in Microsoft Office; experience with CAD tools is preferred.

Qualifications

• Completion of at least 60 hours toward a civil engineering degree from an ABET-accredited program by Summer 2026.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
• Experience with AutoCAD, Civil 3D, MicroStation, or OpenRoads Designer preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide administrative and operations support to Roads & Highways Engineering staff.
• Collaborate with engineers on roadway plan production tasks.
• Perform simple drafting and CAD assignments following detailed instructions.
• Assist in the compilation of design data and the preparation of construction plans.
