Qualifications

• No experience is generally required if accepted into a Bachelor's degree program in a related technical field.
• Must have completed 60 hours towards a Civil or Electrical engineering degree from an ABET accredited program by the start of the internship (Spring 2027).
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel.

Responsibilities

• Support transportation design, plan production, calculations, and project documentation.
• Assist with traffic signalization, ITS, signing, pavement marking, and related transportation design tasks.
• Utilize OpenRoads Designer and/or Civil 3D to support drawings and CADD production.
• Review field notes, as-builts, and existing conditions information to support design development.
• Participate in field reviews when applicable.
• Participate in project coordination meetings, and team discussions.
• Support administrative and engineering tasks as assigned.
