Job summary

HDR is actively seeking a Traffic EIT/Coordinator to join our Transportation Business Group in Texas. You will contribute to traffic forecasting, analysis, and design for a range of projects, applying CAD and traffic simulation tools.

The role supports collaboration across disciplines, emphasizes safety and efficiency, and values an active employee-owned culture. Preferred EIT and proficiency in Synchro, HCS, AutoCAD and MicroStation are a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to multitask on several projects concurrently.

Responsibilities

• Work as part of a traffic team under the Project Engineer/Manager for forecasting, analysis and design across transportation projects.
• Conduct operational traffic analysis using modeling tools and simulations.
• Address traffic design elements including signing, striping, signals, lighting and ITS.
• Perform traffic design using CAD platforms such as MicroStation, AutoCAD and Guide Sign.
• Conduct safety and operational analysis using various software tools.
• Perform additional duties as needed.
