Job summary

HDR is seeking a Highway Design Coordinator to join our Texas transportation team. You will collaborate with project engineers on the detailed design of urban and rural road projects, focusing on alignment, geometrics, drainage, and construction estimates.

Preferred qualifications include an Engineer in Training (EIT) and proficiency with MicroStation/AutoCAD, Bentley OpenRoads Designer, ConceptStation, InfraWorks, and Civil3D; a Bachelor's in Engineering is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or similar field.
• Engineer in Training (EIT) preferred.
• Experience with highways/roads engineering software is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate on the detailed design of urban and rural roadway projects.
• Detail alignment, profile, geometrics, drainage, and develop plans and construction estimates.
• Assist with creation and submission of technical reports, specifications and calculations.
• Perform other duties as needed.
