Job summary

HDR is seeking a Traffic EIT to join our Nashville-based team on transportation projects. You will work under the direction of the Project Engineer/Manager on traffic forecasting, analysis, and design needs for a variety of projects.

Responsibilities include operational analyses using MS software like MicroStation and AutoCAD, as well as modeling tools such as HCS, Synchro, VISSIM, and Aimsun. PE is preferred for advancement to Traffic Engineer. Local candidates preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering required.
• EIT certificate required; PE preferred for title of Traffic Engineer.
• Experience with CAD platforms: MicroStation and AutoCAD; familiarity with Guide Sign software.

Responsibilities

• Assist in traffic forecasting, analysis and design for transportation projects.
• Perform operational traffic analysis using modeling tools and software.
• Contribute to traffic design, including signing, striping, signals, ITS, and CCTV/VM S.
• Collaborate with project team under supervision of Project Engineer/Manager.
