Qualifications

• Minimum Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering.
• CA design experience: at least 2 years.
• P.E. licensure or ability to obtain within 6 months.
• California T.E. and/or PTOE certifications are a plus.
• Local state/municipal experience preferred.
• Proficient in MicroStation and AutoCAD.
• Experience with Synchro, HCS, Vissim, AGI32 and roadway tools.
• Knowledge of Civil 3D/OpenRoads is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Apply civil engineering knowledge to develop innovative solutions.
• Design MOT, signing/marking, signals, lighting, ITS and related docs.
• Perform traffic analysis, safety audits, impact studies, and timing design.
• Prepare technical reports with findings and recommendations.
• Read and interpret plans, specs and reports.
• Prepare and check plans, calculations, cost estimates, and recommendations.
