Job summary

ATS is seeking a motivated individual to join our Maryland traffic division. A BS in Civil Engineering with EIT is preferred, and two years of experience are valued. A MS degree will count as one year of experience, enhancing our candidate pool.

Responsibilities include traffic operations analysis using simulation software, optimizing signal timing, data collection, and assisting in traffic reports. Strong software skills with VISSIM, Synchro, and MS Office are expected.

Qualifications

• BS in Civil Engineering or related field; post-graduate degrees preferred.
• EIT Certification.
• Experience with VISSIM and Synchro.
• Experience with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Experience with AutoCAD or MicroStation.
• Ability to learn quickly.
• Great team player.

Responsibilities

• Participate in traffic operations analysis using simulation software and Highway Capacity Manual.
• Optimize traffic signal timing at intersections and corridors.
• Participate in traffic data collection.
• Assist in traffic reports and documents.
