Job summary

Whitman, Requardt and Associates, LLP is seeking a Civil Engineer specializing in transportation to contribute to the Traffic Department’s projects within the mid-Atlantic region and nationally, including traffic signal design, safety studies, and multimodal transportation plans.

The role requires a ABET-accredited Civil Engineering degree with internship or relevant experience, plus proficiency in MicroStation and/or AutoCAD; strong communication, multitasking and teamwork are essential to

Job description

The Traffic Department works on projects within the mid-Atlantic region and nationally, focusing on traffic signal design, safety studies, and multimodal transportation plans. Responsibilities include conducting operational analyses, preparing technical reports, and developing creative technical solutions.

Requirements

• Candidates must have a bachelor's or master's degree in Civil Engineering from an ABET accredited program and relevant internship or job experience in transportation engineering.
• The position requires effective communication skills, the ability to handle multiple assignments, and experience with MicroStation and/or AutoCAD.
