Job summary

Advanced Transportation Solutions (ATS/American) in Maryland is seeking a motivated civil engineer to join our traffic division. You will prepare traffic impact analyses, corridor/intersection improvement studies, and participate in operations analysis using simulation tools.

The ideal candidate holds a BS in Civil Engineering, is a licensed PE, and PTOE certified, with hands-on experience in HCM, VISSIM, and Synchro.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering or related field; post-graduate degrees preferred.
• Licensed Professional Engineer (P.E.).
• Registered Professional Traffic Operations Engineer (PTOE).
• Experience with Highway Capacity Manual.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Experience with VISSIM and Synchro.
• Strong writing skills for reports and memos.
• Great team player.

Minimum Requirements for the Ideal Candidate
