Job summary

City of New York is seeking a Principal Administrative Associate Level 2 to supervise the Automated Enforcement Unit within the Division of Traffic Operations. The role oversees camera technicians, ensures accurate processing of Notices of Liability, and maintains rigorous QA, reporting, and HR duties.

The position offers potential remote work up to two days per week under the Remote Work Pilot Program, with a focus on leadership and public interactions in a city government setting.

Qualifications

• A bachelor’s degree from an accredited college with three years of clerical/administrative experience, including supervisory experience.
• An associate degree with four years of clerical/administrative experience including supervisory experience.
• A high school diploma with five years of clerical/administrative experience including supervisory experience.

Responsibilities

• Supervise camera technicians reviewing footage and approving/rejecting violations.
• Oversee issuance of Notices of Liability for various camera-based violations.
• Perform random quality assurance checks and prepare statistical reports.
• Troubleshoot technical issues arising with staff processes.
• Perform auditing to ensure adherence to procedures for issuing violations.
• Handle scheduling, timesheets, overtime monitoring, and other HR duties.
