Acme Barricades in Pensacola, FL is hiring a Maintenance of Traffic laborer to perform temporary traffic control on roadway construction projects, ensuring safety and adherence to MOT guidelines.

The role requires 2+ years MOT experience, a High School Diploma/GED, the ability to lift 50 pounds, and a valid driver license for potential vehicle duties. We offer weekly pay, overtime, and a comprehensive benefits package.

Formación

• Minimum of 2 years in Maintenance of Traffic / Temporary Traffic Control or related industry
• High School Diploma/GED and be able to communicate clearly both written and verbally
• Advanced MOT Certification Preferred

Responsabilidades

• Set up and maintain traffic control devices, installation and service work-zone signs, and lights
• Set up and maintain assigned MOT activity including detours and lane closures
• Coordinate services with the on-site client representative or officials
• Load and unload equipment into and out of company trucks
• Deliver / Pick-up equipment from customer jobsites
• Coordinate activities of traffic control laborers to ensure compliance with MOT guidelines
• Make recommendations on existing conditions to coordinate procedures for traffic maintenance activities
• Complete daily paperwork and reports as required by supervisor
• If approved driver, may operate a company vehicle and maintain company standards with Motor Vehicle Record
• Perform all other duties as assigned
