Job summary

Acme Barricades is seeking a Maintenance of Traffic laborer to manage temporary traffic control on roadway construction sites. You will set up signs, lights, detours, and coordinate with on-site officials to protect the public and ensure smooth operations.

The role requires MOT experience, clear written and verbal communication, and a valid MOT certification is preferred. We provide competitive pay, benefits, and opportunities for growth.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years in Maintenance of Traffic/Temporary Traffic Control or related field.
• High School Diploma/GED with clear written and verbal communication.
• Advanced MOT Certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Set up and maintain traffic control devices, signs, and lights.
• Coordinate MOT activities including detours and lane closures.
• Load/unload equipment and deliver/pick up from jobsites.
• Coordinate activities with on-site client representatives or officials.
• Complete daily paperwork and reports.
• Operate company vehicle if licensed and maintain Motor Vehicle Record.
• Perform all other duties as assigned.
