Job summary

Acme Barricades is seeking a Maintenance of Traffic laborer in Florida to support highway construction projects with flexible shifts, overtime, and weekly pay. You will install and maintain traffic control devices, coordinate detours and lane closures, and work with on-site officials to ensure safe traffic flow.

This position requires 2+ years MOT experience and a High School Diploma/GED; Advanced MOT Certification is preferred.

Qualifications

• 2+ years in Maintenance of Traffic or related field.
• High school diploma or GED required.
• Advanced MOT certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Set up and maintain traffic control devices, signs, and lights.
• Coordinate MOT activity including detours and lane closures.
• Load/unload equipment and deliver/pick up at jobsites.
• Coordinate with on-site client representatives.
• Maintain daily paperwork and reports.
• Operate company vehicle if licensed.
• Ensure compliance with MOT guidelines and safety standards.
• Maintain awareness of surrounding construction activities.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
