City Rise Traffic is seeking a Traffic Control Associate to manage traffic around active work zones in California. The role involves signaling drivers, coordinating with crew members, and setting up safety devices to ensure public and worker protection.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma preferred.
• ATSSA Flagging certification; in-house certification possible by City Rise.
• Valid CA driver’s license with clean driving record is required.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a consistent and unrelenting focus on safety throughout all job functions.
• Use traffic signals, signs, and traffic plans to coordinate traffic flow around the work zone.
• Assist in managing day-to-day work zone setup, maintenance and tear down. Meet or exceed customer, state, federal regulations and company expectations.
• Communicate with customers, the public, and with other team members.
• Keep equipment in trucks organized and in working order.
• Develop superior knowledge of work zone setup and professional flagging responsibilities.
• Provide the highest level of customer service to all customers with on-time arrival and well managed work zones.
• Recognize dangers using hearing and vision; handle stressful situations to avoid injuries.
