Job summary

City Rise Safety is seeking a Traffic Control Associate to manage traffic around active work zones for road construction and utility crews. You will use a Stop/Slow paddle, coordinate with radios, and assist with barricades and cones to enhance safety.

Requirements include a valid California driver’s license, a clean driving record, and ATSSA flagging certification (or Company-in-house certification). This is a full-time hourly role with benefits.

Qualifications

High School Diploma preferred.
2+ years in a similar role preferred.
Valid CA driver’s license with a clean driving record.
ATSSA flagging certification preferred or company willing to certify in-house.

Responsibilities

Maintain a consistent and unrelenting focus on safety throughout all job functions.
Coordinate traffic flow around the work zone using signals, signs, and plans.
Assist in day-to-day work zone setup, maintenance and teardown; meet regulations and company expectations.
Communicate with customers, the public, and team members.
Keep equipment in trucks organized and in working order.
Drive company trucks as needed and handle other duties as assigned.
