Job summary

City Rise Safety, LLC. seeks a Traffic Control Technician to join our City Rise Utility Traffic Control team in California. You will lead on-site crews, review traffic plans, install flagging and traffic control equipment, and supervise jobs to ensure safety and compliance.

This union-represented role requires IBEW membership and a valid driver’s license; OSHA 10/30, First Aid/CPR, ATSSA Flagger, and MUTCD knowledge are preferred, and benefits are provided where applicable.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• OSHA 10 and OSHA 30 certifications.
• First Aid/CPR certification required.
• Cal Trans MUTCD knowledge.
• ATSSA Flagger certification required.
• ATSSA TCT certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintain safety focus in all job functions.
• Oversee work zone setup, maintenance and teardown.
• Meet or exceed stakeholder expectations and comply with regulations.
• Implement traffic control per MUTCD and plans.
• Coordinate with management and agencies on work zone changes.
• Communicate clearly with customers and the public near work zones.
• Drive company trucks and deliver equipment.
• Supervise crew and provide feedback to management.
• Prepare safety reports and participate in tailgate meetings.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
