City Rise Traffic is seeking a Traffic Control Associate in Martinez. This full-time, hourly role involves signaling drivers, setting up work zones, and coordinating traffic around active construction sites in California.

You will work closely with crew leaders, prioritize safety, and ensure clear communication with customers and team members. A valid CA driver’s license and flagging certification are required; bilingual skills are a plus.

Qualifications

• Must maintain a strong focus on safety in all tasks.
• Ability to communicate with customers and team members clearly.
• Experience reading traffic plans and permits is a plus.
• Ability to operate in high-volume outdoor work zones.
• Valid CA driver’s license with clean record required.

Responsibilities

• Maintain safety-focused operations in all duties.
• Coordinate traffic flow using signals, plans, and requests.
• Assist with setup, maintenance, and teardown of work zones.
• Communicate with customers, pedestrians, and team members.
• Keep equipment organized and functional.
• Develop knowledge of work zone setup and flagging duties.
• Provide high-level customer service with on-time arrival.
• Recognize hazards and take safe action to prevent injuries.
