City Rise Traffic is seeking a Traffic Control Associate to manage traffic around active work zones for road construction and utility crews. You will signal drivers, coordinate flow, and assist with barricades, cones, and vehicle placements while abiding by safety regulations.

Required is a valid California driver’s license, clean driving record, and knowledge of work zone setup. The role supports multiple California locations with full-time hours and a competitive benefits package.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma preferred.
• Minimum 2 years’ experience in a similar role preferred.
• Valid ATSSA Flagging certification; company can certify in-house.

Responsibilities

• Maintain safety focus in all job functions.
• Coordinate traffic flow around work zones using signals and plans.
• Assist in day-to-day work zone setup, maintenance and teardown.
• Communicate with customers, the public, and team members.
• Keep equipment organized and in good working order.
• Develop knowledge of work zone setup and flagging responsibilities.
• Provide high-level customer service and ensure on-time arrival.
• Recognize dangers and take safe actions to prevent injuries.
• Drive company trucks as needed.
